Cathy Cann seventeen years old resident of Stratford CT, president and founder of Entertainers Educating Everyone (E-Cubed) is hosting its 4th annual performing arts concert to raise funds to eradicate illiteracy among schoolchildren in Haiti. ECubed is looking for Haitian Dancer(s) and other guest performing artists who have a cross-cultural message interest in promoting education & cross-cultural learning. Interested performers please share a video, maybe something you’ve published on YouTube.

Showtime is 7:30pm – 10:00pm. The show will take place Saturday October 23, 2010 at David Wooster Middle School, located on 150 Lincoln Street, Stratford, CT. Please join me to help raise awareness on this important issue! Your presence as our guest performer could help sensitize our local community to acknowledge the gravity of the problem of Underprivileged Children. E-Cubed's goal is to raise $10,000. Proceeds will be donated to Haiti Lumiere de Demain/Haiti's Light for Tomorrow ( www.haitilumiere.org ). Admission is $15. Cathy has worked professionally with Nickelodeon and in off-Broadway musical plays. Cathy credits local organizations for her training, including Performing Arts Center of Connecticut and Stratford Academy of Dance. Cathy volunteers in many community-based activities, and is especially proud of the work she and her fellow performing artists have accomplished via E-Cubed.

Cathy Cann says “Children are our future. The world is so tied together, so everyone needs to do their part to make sure the children can care for tomorrow. My friends and I use entertainment to make education available for everyone”.
