E-Cubed’s Successful Benefit Concert - $4,500 Donated to Non-Profit

E-Cubed’s Annual Benefit Concert was held October 4, 2008 at Wooster JH School in Stratford CT. The event was well attended and once again, the artists delivered talented and inspired performances. E-Cubed wishes to thank all the volunteers who helped organize and participate in this event, especially the Performing Arts Center of Connecticut (Trumbull), the Stratford Academy of Dance (Stratford), and the Latin Rhythm Dance Studio (Bridgeport). The awesome local talent was complemented by a number of visiting guest artists, including T-Boy (South Jersey, NY) and CrazyOne (New Haven).

As a result of this group effort, $4,500 has been distributed to the three non-profit education-focused organizations selected by E-Cubed:

Literacy Volunteers of America, c/o Family Services Woodfield
Haiti Lumiere de Demain, Inc
Distressed Children & Infants Int

Three years I created E-Cubed to organize performing arts concerts similar to the ones I’ve been participating in since I was six years old. Except E-Cubed’s concerts would raise awareness around issues of education. E-Cubed stands for “Entertainers Educating Everyone”. All the money raised by E-Cubed’s concerts is donated to non-profit organizations that support education. Most importantly, the concerts promote the message that we all need to work together. My role models are any talented individual who works selflessly to help underserved people improve their circumstances. Children are the future of our world, and everyone deserves an opportunity for education.
